with reference to your
Confidential despatch of 28th August 1930,
regarding the Shing Mun Valley Water
Scheme I have the honour to inform you
that, as it has now been decided that the
scheme should be examined by Consulting
Engineers, I consider that it would be
premature to approach the Colonial
Development Advisory Committee at this
stage. Until the Consulting Engineers
have reported, it is not possible to say
what scheme will be finally adopted or to
furnish provisional estimates of cost.
2. When a scheme has been approved,
any application which may then be
forwarded
